Centreville slides past Silliman 21-0

The Centreville Tigers improved to 3-1 & 1-0 in district 5AA with a 21-0 shutout over Silliman in Centreville. Senior running back Zach Sinclair ran for 76 yards on 21 carries and had two touchdowns and sophomore quarterback Cliff Hurst ran for another in a sloppy district opener. Silliman managed to out-gain the Tigers on the ground with 153 yards to Centreville’s 152 yards. Centreville lost two fumbles on a night that produced only 39 passing yards between both teams.

Centreville (#2 ranked) travels to Liberty next week to take on ASC while Silliman (1-3 & 0-1) hosts #4 ranked Central Private.
