Columbia Academy center Christian Robbins made it official today as the 6’10” senior signed with the University of Southern Mississippi in a signing ceremony inside the Columbia Academy gymnasium surrounded by family, friends and teammates.
Robbins, who is the first Division-1 basketball signee ever at Columbia, transferred from West Marion High School after his sophomore year and says he looks forward to getting on with his senior season and signing early will eliminate any distractions. “This is one of the biggest days of my life,” said Robbins. “I told my parents in the 7th grade that I was going to play for Coach Eustachy one day, this is what you dream about as a kid.”
