Trinity's Jake Winston inks with Southern Mississippi

Trinity senior Jake Winston signed a national letter of intent this morning to play baseball at Southern Mississippi. Seated with Jake are his parents Tam (L) and Beverly Winston (R). Standing from left are Trinity Episcopal Athletic Director David King, Trinity Head Baseball Coach Mitch Ashmore, and USM Alum Chip Sturdivant. Jake has pitched and played short stop for Trinity as a starter since the ninth grade. He was the principal pitcher as part of the 2011 Varsity Baseball Team that won Trinity’s first state championship.
