Nichols signs with Southern Arkansas
Tori Nichols, a senior at Hebron Christian School, has signed a National Letter of Intent to play basketball at Southern Arkansas University in the fall of 2012.   
During her senior year, Tori led her team to a third place finish in the State Class A Basketball Tournament. Her team finished second in North Central play, after winning their District Championship. Tori was selected as the District MVP her junior and senior years. She was named to the District All Tournament team and the North Central All Tournament teams her junior and senior years and was selected to the State Class A All Tournament team her senior year. Tori also participated in the MAIS All-Star basketball game and was named the MVP of the North All-Stars. Finally, a top honor that Tori received this year was being selected to the second team 2012 Girl’s All-MAIS basketball team.
Tori’s statistics for her senior year are 858 points scored, or 23.2 per game, 12.9 rebounds per game, and 7.9 blocked shots per game. She had 63 assists and 77 steals during the season. Tori shot 47.2% from the field and 59.6% from the free throw line.
While at Hebron, Tori received the Top Rebounder Award her 8th grade year, the team MVP Award her 9th grade year, and the team MVP Award her junior and senior years. Tori went to Houston High School her sophomore year and received the Most Scholastic Basketball Award while there. In softball, she made All District her junior and senior years. She received the Most Home Runs Award her junior and senior years and the Slugger Award her senior year. In track, she received the Best in Field Award her junior year.
Tori also represented Hebron Christian School as a Rotary Student of the Month this past November.
