Edwards amassed 615 total yards in leading Glenbrook to their first win over River Oaks since 2004 going 20/32 for 485 yards and six touchdowns (0 ints) through the air and rushing for 130 yards on 12 carries and two touchdowns.
"He's a gamer and loves to compete on Friday nights," said first year head coach Greg Tibbitt. "Regan had to come in and get used to a new school and learn a whole new system but he's gotten better each week and had a great night against River Oaks."
Tibbitt, who came to Minden by way of Liberal High School in Liberal, Kansas went a little further in talking about the skills of his junior signal-caller. "He's such a polished quarterback and has really become our leader, he's the best I've ever coached."
Glenbrook and Edwards will look to win their fourth straight game and improve to 5-2 this Friday as the Apaches host Tallulah.
