The 6'3" guard led the Class AA 2nd ranked Rebels to three wins last week including an upset win over defending Overall Champion Jackson Prep.
Anderson had a game high 21 points, including four 3-pointers, in a 68-42 District 6-AA road win over 6th ranked Bowling Green on Thursday night.
The next night Anderson produced a double-double in leading Central Private to the upset of the season as the senior went for 27 points and 11 rebounds in a 78-73 road win over Class AAA top ranked Jackson Prep.
Playing their third game in three days Central Private defeated MHSAA Class 4A Richland 43-41 on Saturday. Anderson scored 10 points, pulled down 7 boards and had 5 blocked shots but more importantly nailed the game winner for the Rebels.
"I've always enjoyed coaching Simpson because he always plays his best in big games," said Central Private head coach Henry Gantz. "This past week he wasn't just a scorer, he did everything right, including being a great leader for us."
