This website is growing at a rapid rate and it’s because of the many who contribute each week. If you don’t see information about your school on Southern Sports & Travel get involved and join the many who contribute every week. No school is too small or too large to contribute.

Nominations for The Gateway Tire & Service Center Player of the Week can be submitted by text at 985-750-3455, email at aafandaman@yahoo.com or fax at 985-732-9306. Nominations, along with game stats, must be received by Monday. Players of the Week will receive a 9 x 12 plaque and a prominently placed profile on the website for the week.

Coaches have been encouraged to have their statisticians send in game stats each week to help in recognizing outstanding performances. Stats sent in by others must be verified by a coaching staff member of that school. Mike Kelly has graciously volunteered his time to help gather data each week. The summer ad campaign is wrapping up and it’s been a humbling experience to see the outpouring of so many MAIS members willing to help in the continuing effort to provide quality sports coverage for MAIS athletics. It’s not too late to purchase a sponsorship ad.

If you are the parent of a student who drives or will be riding along with others PLEASE remind them to BUCKLE UP!!!!
