Gateway Tire & Service Center Player of the Week

Madison-Ridgeland Academy quarterback Caleb Shufelt is the Week One Gateway Tire & Service Center Player of the Week. 
The 6’2”, 178 lb. senior led MRA to a 54-12 season opening win over Glenbrook by going 19/23 for 388 yards and 5 touchdowns and rushing for another.

The MRA offense generated 609 total yards in their blowout win last week.

Shufelt accounted for 17 touchdowns and 1,559 yards last season while splitting time as the Patriot signal caller.

Patriot head coach Forest Williams could not be reached for comment.
