Jackson Academy forfeits two games

Jackson Academy was notified by the MAIS last week about an ineligible player on the Raider roster. The result of using an ineligible player was the forfeiting of the 35-0 win over Northeast Lauderdale and the 28-7 win over St. George's.

Jackson Academy is the top ranked Class AAA team in the MAIS and drops to 1-2 overall.

The infraction centers around the "Bonafide Move Rule" in which the player transferring from another MAIS school must have moved in a timely manner to be eligible.

Jackson Academy will host Heritage tomorrow night.
