The Gateway Tire & Service Center Player of the Week

Benton tailback Kent Manor is the Week Three Gateway Tire & Service Center Player of the Week.

The 6'1", 180 lb. senior rushed for 120 yards on 23 carries and scored three touchdowns in the Raider's 21-20 home win over then unbeaten Sylva Bay.

Manor also shined on defense with 15 tackles and a 56 yard interception returned for a touchdown.

"Kent had a great game," said Benton head coach Wayman Grantham. "He had 120 yards rushing and an interception returned for a touchdown. Kent is a great young man and the leader of this team, I'm proud of him."

Manor also stands out in academics with a 4.0 GPA. He's President of the Honor Society and a member of The Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

Manor will lead his 6th ranked Raiders this Friday night as they host Carroll Academy.
