Prep hits the diamond
The Jackson Prep baseball team is set to begin
practice today in preparations for the 2014 season.
Jackson Prep won the 2013 AAA-I State
Championship setting a school record with 34 wins.
The Patriots return
six position players and three pitchers from the 2013 squad.
Prep opens
the 34 game schedule on February 17 against Simpson Academy at historic Smith
Wills Stadium.
The 8th annual media day/homerun derby is
slated for Thursday, February 13 at 2:45 pm.
All practices are open to the public and begin
daily around 3:20 pm.
