Bowling Green held a slim 8-5 lead halfway through the opening quarter and at the 3:16 mark Beth Reedy’s 3-pointer from the corner pushed the lead to 11-5.

In the second quarter Bowling Green got hot. Caroline Haik hit a baseline jumper from ten feet to put the Lady Bucs up 15-5 two minutes into the second quarter. The lead was increased to 23-5 at the 4:40 mark on a Brittany Cooper steal and lay-in. Bowling Green entered the halftime break with a commanding 36-14 advantage and cruised to a 60-27 semi-final win.
Caroline Haik led all scorers with 23 points, Beth Reedy added 17, Mackayla Dykes 7, Whitney Crowe 6, Jasmine Lavigne 3 and Alana Lindsey and Brittany Cooper 2 apiece.
Rachel Holloway and Taylor Welch led ACCS with 7 apiece, Marlee Wadsworth added 6, Megan Cole 4, Mindy McCall and Kaitlan Melton 2 each and Kristyn Arnold 1.
Adams Christian slips to 22-9 with the loss and will take on Prairie View in the elimination game today at 1:00 pm.
