Marshall's Fitzpatrick signs with Arkansas State

Kevin Fitzpatrick, a senior at Marshall Academy, signed a national letter of intent today to play baseball for Arkansas State University. Fitzpatrick is seated with his mother, Felecia Fitzpatrick, and his sister, Erica Fitzpatrick. In his junior season for the Patriots, Fitzpatrick hit .453 with four home runs and 38 RBIs. He was 32 of 33 in stolen-base attempts. The shortstop on the baseball team also plays football and basketball and runs track at Marshall Academy.
