Central Hinds senior Jordan Currie ran a 14.85 in the 110m high hurdles Tuesday at the Jackson Academy Relays. The current Class AA record time is 15.20 which was set in 1971 and the MAIS overall mark of 14.60 is held by MRA's Randy Luster. Had Currie's time been at a state meet Currie would be recognized as the new record holder in Class AA.

Columbia Academy Junior Jon Luke Watts set a new meet and facility record in the 3200 Meter Run at the MSU Bulldog High School track meet last week with 9:39.86.
