Centreville Tiger signs with Hinds

Randy Bell, a senior at Centreville Academy, has signed a letter of intent to play baseball at Hinds Community College in Raymond. Randy has played baseball for the CA Tigers since the ninth grade, winning back-to-back state championships in 2011 and 2012. Between the ages of 10 and 13 he played for the Mississippi Mudcats, a traveling team out of Natchez. Randy was a member of the Mississippi Babe Ruth 14 Year old All-Star team that won state in 2009. They traveled to Bryant, Arkansas for the Southwest Regionals that year. In the summer of 2011, Randy traveled to Peoria, Arizona to play on the USA Baseball 16U Championship Team. Randy pitches and plays infield for the Tigers.
