Gateway Tire & Service Center Player of the Week

Joiner scored 21 points and pulled down 9 rebounds in a 62-52 win over Claiborne and in an 82-65 win over third ranked Glenbrook the junior scored 22 points and grabbed 11 boards.
"Khylnd is without a doubt, the most unselfish star I've ever been around. He enjoys dishing off an assist, blocking a shot or throwing down a monster dunk and getting our team fired up as much as he does scoring. This week, in our two big wins against Claiborne and Glenbrook which clinched the district championship, what Khylnd did for our team was simply amazing. He was able to elevate our team to a level of consistency we hadn't seen all year. Even though he's only a junior, I feel he's one of the most talented players in all of the MAIS and I wouldn't trade him for anyone," said Cenla head coach Jonas Gauthier.
Joiner is averaging 18 points, 10 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals and 3 blocks a game for the second ranked Lions who are 21-6 on the regular season and a perfect 11-0 district mark with one remaining.
