The Gateway Tire & Service Center Player of the Week

Keith Hamilton of Tunica Academy is The Gateway Tire & Service Center Player of the Week. Hamilton rushed for 221 yards on 30 carries and 2 touchdowns in the Blue Devil's 24-20 win over Tipton-Rosemark Academy.

The 5'7", 180 lb. junior tailback is averaging 9.2 yards a carry and has amassed 468 yards in the first two games of the 2013 season. In a 56-0 win over Greenville Christian Hamilton rushed for 247 yards and scored 7 touchdowns.

"Keith, has done an outstanding job the first two weeks of the season, his ability to create yards after contact has allowed him to have great success rushing the football.  Keith has led the way accounting for over 75% of our offense two games into the season.  He is an outstanding young man that takes care of business on and off the field," said Tunica head Coach Bryan Burrell.

Hamilton will be in action this Friday night as his 8th ranked Blue Devils host 2nd ranked Marshall.
