West Memphis controlled the first quarter until Carroll’s Ken Daves hit a baseline jumper to tie the game at 18-18 with 1:41 remaining in the quarter. Carroll took the lead at 20-18 on their next possession on a CJ Hodges basket and the Rebels extended their lead to 22-18 on a Hodges lay-in to end the opening quarter.

Carroll jumped out to a 28-18 lead following a Nicholas Mumme jumper two minutes into the second quarter. West Memphis guard David Robilio nailed a 3-pointer from the wing to keep the Black Knights close at 28-22 with 5:54 to go in the half. West Memphis closed the gap to 35-31 on a Robilio baseline floater with 9 seconds left but a CJ Hodges offensive rebound and put back at the buzzer gave Carroll a 37-31 halftime cushion. West Memphis stayed within five points of Carroll during the third quarter and a David Robilio 3-pointer from the wing at the 6:41 mark pulled the Black Knights to within one point at 37-36. Carroll extended their lead to 54-49 on a basket by Andrew Wright to end the quarter.
West Memphis pulled back to within two points to start the fourth quarter when David Robilio was fouled attempting a 3-pointer. Robilio drained all three free throws and the Carroll lead was reduced to 54-52. That would be as close as West Memphis would get until the 2:59 mark when an Aaron Crouch basket plus one made it 65-63.

In a frantic final minute Carroll built their lead to 71-68 on two Breland Marett free throws with 58 seconds left in regulation. West Memphis tied the game for the first time since the opening quarter on Aaron Crouch’s 3-pointer from the wing with 48 seconds left. After a Carroll timeout with 39 seconds remaining the Rebels set up for a last shot win but a missed shot with four seconds remaining allowed David Robilio to launch a 3-pointer from the wing at the buzzer that looked spot on but went off the back rim to send the game into overtime.
West Memphis took their first lead since the first quarter on an Armon Coleman offensive rebound and put back made it 73-71 at the 2:44 mark in overtime. Carroll tied the game on an Andrew Wright basket in the paint with 1:42 left. After a Robilio basket put the Black Knights on top 75-73 with 1:28 left in overtime Carroll answered with a Breland Marett banker in the lane to tie the game at 75-75 and send the game into another overtime period.
West Memphis took control of the second overtime and extended out to an 87-80 lead on an Armon Coleman baseline floater from 7 feet and 36 seconds remaining. Carroll pulled back to within two points at 88-86 with 4 seconds remaining but West Memphis held on for an exciting 88-86 double overtime win.
Junior guard David Robilio had a game high 35 points to lead West Memphis, Aaron Crouch added 13, Jordan Blann 10, Braden Henderson 9, Armon Coleman and Will Riley had 8 each, Zack Nicholson 3 and Barrett Henderson 1.
Carroll was led by CJ Hodges with 28 points, Breland Marett had 17, Andrew Wright 16, Nicholas Mumme 10, Hayden Harrell 9, Ken Daves 4 and Justin Blaylock 2.
West Memphis improves to 18-8 and will take on Canton in the semi-finals.
Carroll finishes the season at 22-6.
