The Lamar Raiders blasted Leake Academy 18-2 in four innings Friday in prep baseball action.

Lamar's Witt Haggard had a big night at the plate going 4-for-4 with a home run and six RBIs.

Beau Burns finished the night 2-for-2 with an RBI, while Barrett Dudley went 3-for-4 with a double and three RBIs.

John Countiss picked up the win on the mound, while also going 2-for-2 at the plate with a RBI.

Starkville Academy jumped out to an early 2-0 lead against Lamar in the second innings and never looked back en route to the win against the Raiders (6-4). Lamar's Dylan Rivers finished the night 2-for-3 at the plate, while Harrison Thomas went 1-for-3 with a double. The Raiders will be back in action Tuesday at Leake Academy.
