The Class AAA Division I Championship series gets underway Tuesday with top ranked Parklane (22-8) visiting third ranked MRA (20-13). MRA is one of the hottest teams in the MAIS and will send junior right-hander Michael Gordon to the mound in game one.
Parklane will give the game one start to its' ace, southpaw Shane McKinley. McKinley is also a leader at the plate for the top ranked Pioneers. The senior is hitting .374 with 33 RBI's and 14 doubles on the season.
Parklane's head coach is Michael Clements while Madison-Ridgeland Academy is led by Chad Lipscomb.
The series will head back to Parklane on Thursday and will be featured by Southern Sports & Travel.
